OK first, I own this movie and yet I am watching it on NBC right now which makes little sense

Second, this movie received plenty of criticism I know but damn if I don’t REALLY enjoy it. That scene were she tried on all those gowns? I still swoon a bit (much to my embarrassment).

One of the best movies I found on Netflix Instant while being at home (and believe me I spent a lot of time searching for things to watch). I really should own it, I love it.

Makes me want to take up dance again…almost

So basically this movie is pretty much awesome.

It’s disturbing and raw and sexy and beautiful and Natalie Portman really does deliver an amazing performance.

Now, I love it because I’ve always been a fan of ballet. I even danced up until age 14 and then took a few classes in college. All the more reason to love it.

“El Abogado” doesn’t like ballet. He’d probably rather stab himself in the eye before going to a ballet. However this movie was that interesting and that good that he enjoyed it too. Of course the multiple masturbation scenes/hot lesbian sex involving Natalie Portman really were the icing on the cake for him.

In short, go see it. It’s 10000X better than the other garbage in the theater now.
